Yr10 Geography Field Trip - Swanage

This involved the geography department taking 115 Year 10 Geographers down to Swanage to collect a variety of primary data. The students completed groyne measurements, field sketches, photos, longshore drift recording with a tennis ball & coastal protection evaluation sheets on the North beach. They then went into Swanage town centre to complete questionnaires, land use surveys and tourism bipolar sheets for their human geography.

The results of this fieldwork will be used to write up short reports in term 6 so that they have great notes to revise from for the exam paper 3 in May 2018! The students were really well behaved and completed some accurate and well presented data collection. Well done to all of them, they worked really well.

What fantastic weather too!
