Christmas comes to Ralph Allen School!

Thanks to the four students who decorated the school Christmas tree - Ellis Watt Year 7, Jake Jones Year 9, Sky Hodgson Year 7 and Dominik Hoskins Year 8. Fantastic teamwork!

This was just in time for the lively RASA Christmas Quiz on Friday evening, which raised over £1000 for the school.

On Weds 6 December at 7pm the Christmas Concert took place in the hall, with a feast of festive music and seasonal refreshments.

School Christmas lunch for students and staff was Tuesday 12 December.  Over 700 Christmas lunches were cooked by our wonderful catering team, and served by many different staff.

Tuesday 12 December was also CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY with all money raised going to Save the Children.

The tireless catering team always spreads the Christmas cheer by making Christmas lunches for members of the community.  This year they cooked for Holy Trinity and St Luke's churches on 7 December, and Age UK and the Union Chapel on 12 December.

The traditional Ralph Allen grand finale of the Christmas term is always the Sixth Form Revue performed in the hall to everyone in the school in three sittings on the last morning of term, 15 December. Students pay a £1 on entry to the hall, and all money raised is donated to Julian House charitiy.

Then school finishes early on Friday 15 December.  Term 3 begins on Wednesday 3 January 2018.

Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year!
