A Level Art and Photography

The quality of the work is truly inspirational – well done to all the students, and the hard-working Art and Photography team.

Parents attending One Night at the Palladian will be able to see displays of artwork from all the Palladian schools, including Ralph Allen, in the foyer of The Forum.

The A-Level work on display was all of the coursework and exam units produced by the YR 13 Fine art and photography students. The groups have worked well, developing their designs and being responsive to the new artists and skills the teaching team have delivered, refining their ideas into ambitious final outcomes. We are very pleased with the dedication shown to personal best, and realising the students intentions.

All of the fine art class are studying art foundation at Trowbridge next year and several of the photographers are also enrolled on the course.

Some of the visitors’ responses from the evening:

"What a wonderful celebration of everyone’s creativity"

"The most fabulous and impressive collection of work.

What struck me most was that everyone had their own individual styles - wonderful talent and a real credit to the teaching."

"Huge talent lead by amazing and passionate teachers"

"Lovely to see such a fabulous range of work and at such a high standard. Well done to all involved"

 "Original and fresh work"
