Informal Careers Event (ICE) – Wednesday 14 November 2018, 12.30-3pm

Planning of this annual important event is well under way. The aim of the ICE is to inform our KS4 & KS5 students about a whole range of different careers. We do this by inviting volunteers to come and talk about the jobs they do, how they came to get their job, what it involves and any advice they would give to someone who was thinking about a career in this sector. The volunteers are not officially representing their career area and ICE does not aim to initiate application processes etc. It is purely educational – to help students know what different jobs are and involve.

This is a request that if any members of our parent community themselves or have other contacts who might be prepared to volunteer for this event, please could you email administration.officer@ralphallenschool.com their name, email address & telephone number and we will contact them to see if they would help us out. It is great to have volunteers from as many different walks of life as possible.

Thank you.
