Educational Trips and Visits

Our school has a long history of running extremely successful and safe educational visits for our students.

Educational visits play a significant part in the development of our students, adding to and supporting many aspects of the curriculum and broadening the students' experiences.  At Ralph Allen School we are committed to providing a broad and balanced programme of opportunities.  Opportunities are provided to as many of our students as possible, and we ensure that theses visits are very high quality and designed to maximise the educational benefits to the young people taking part.

Our Educational Visits Coordinator is Mr Richard Handley, r.handley@PalladianAcademyTrust.com

Our Educational Visits Administrator is Mrs Laura Morrison l.morrison@PalladianAcademyTrust.com

Year 12 trip to Uganda - May 2026

We are delighted to be working with Flooglebinder to offer our Year 12 students the opportunity to spend 11 days exploring the culture and wildlife of Uganda. This trip is both organised and run by Flooglebinder.  Flooglebinder was set up in 2012 and are student travel experts for tour experiences worldwide. They are a certified B Corporation, hold their Learning Outside the Classroom badge (LotC) and align with the British standard 8848 for international projects. Flooglebinder curates sustainable, bespoke adventures for secondary schools, offering students the opportunity to experience programmes that create change for people and the planet.

Two members of Ralph Allen School staff, Mr Witts and Ms Prinsloo, will be attending the trip but acting in a pastoral role; please note this trip is under the management of Flooglebinder.
