This is an exciting opportunity for an existing headteacher or deputy headteacher looking for the next step in their career. We are looking for an inspirational, pupil-focused individual who will lead Ralph Allen School in the next stage of its development and be a committed member of the Extended Leadership Team within a growing Trust.
Palladian Academy Trust and Ralph Allen are committed to the continued improvement of the quality of education in our schools and ultimately on excellent outcomes, both academically and more widely for our pupils. The new headteacher at Ralph Allen will be at the heart of this work and will work closely with the Trust and school leadership teams, wider colleagues, families, the Local Governing Committee and of course the pupils to achieve our vision of excellent and equitable opportunities so everyone can flourish.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, forward-thinking professional with a track record of successful school improvement leadership from 11-19.
Palladian Academy Trust is a mixed Trust of both church and community schools, established in 2016 as a not-for- profit charity with children at the heart of everything it does. It currently has 11 schools (1 secondary and 10 primaries). The Trust is a learning organisation, where the learning of all children and adults is valued and continually promoted.

We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly and has a can-do attitude to join our school, working afternoons in our busy reception area where you will be the first person who visitors meet as they enter the school.
You will have exceptional customer service experience ensuring high standards are maintained greeting visitors face to face and on the telephone. You will have the ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and will be comfortable working under pressure. You will be confident in using all Microsoft packages and have good IT skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and outstanding Learning Mentor who is passionate about enhancing the life chances of our students. You will be an integral part of the Pupil Premium team and will be able to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment of success, particularly working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Pupil Premium Team supports our students from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their personal best. Statistically Children from disadvantaged backgrounds are far less likely to get good GCSE results and therefore opportunities in later life. We believe it is unacceptable for children’s success to be determined by their social circumstances. We intend to raise levels of achievement for all disadvantaged pupils and to close the gap between disadvantaged children and their peers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join our school, working alongside a highly skilled Additional Educational Needs team, supporting our students. This role will inspire, challenge, and drive you to develop, alongside professionals, the highest standards of education and care, making a difference to the lives of our young people.
Your role will involve working closely with class teachers to ensure students are able to fully participate in the mainstream classroom curriculum. The work is varied and will include in-class support, small group work and one to one support of students with additional educational needs.
You will be required to assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties.
Ideally (but not essentially) you will have previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional learning needs. Equally as important, however, are the ‘softer’ skills needed to engage, inspire and encourage our young people to achieve their very best.

We are looking to expand our team of Invigilators to help and support our Examination’s team. You will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students taking both mock and external exams, as necessary throughout the school year, with the period between May – June (not including half-term) being a peak time in our calendar. Hours are variable depending upon the exam timetable.
No experience in the role is required, as full training will be given. Experience of working in a school or with young people would be an advantage. You will be professional and flexible, with good spoken and written English. You will be reliable and possess a calm but firm approach. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative as you will play a key role in upholding the integrity and conduct of the examination process in accordance with official regulations and Ralph Allen School exam policy.
Successful candidates MUST be available for full training during the spring term and for external examinations from 15 May to 23 June (excluding week commencing 29 May).

We need an organized logical person to carry out the daily and long-term allocation of cover for absent teaching staff. You will work closely with our Timetable Manager and Assessment team, HLTAs who provide cover, supply teachers and teaching staff.
You will like getting up early in the morning, stay calm under pressure, and possess good ICT and communication skills. You will be friendly and confident, self-motivated and work well as a member of a team. Training will be given.
Occasional extra hours may have to be worked, for which overtime would be paid.

Are you a team player and enjoy working in a busy environment? Ralph Allen School are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join the lovely ladies in the kitchen.
Previous experience of a similar role would be desirable, however full training will be provided if required. The successful candidate will perform kitchen and cleaning duties in accordance with the Schools Health and Safety Policy. Preparation of basic food items within agreed cooking methods and portion controls as required. To maintain highest level of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and other food outlets. To serve food to both students and staff at the service time required.
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility with working hours is essential, with some later working for calendared meetings, special events, parents’ evenings as well as working additional hours may be required.

Would you be interested in joining the school governing body?
The governors at Ralph Allen School are seeking two parent governors to join their lively, friendly team, following recent retirements after long service.
There is no particular qualification needed, just enthusiasm about education, a commitment to working as part of the team and a desire to support the school. We are hoping through recruitment to add to our existing range of knowledge and experience and parent governors play a crucial role in bringing their particular perspective of the school and increasing our links with the local community.
Candidates must be parents of children currently on roll at Ralph Allen School.
