Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a range of Design & Technology subjects across KS3-KS5.
• Teach GCSE Design & Technology (advantageous but not essential).

Teacher of Maths

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Maternity Cover Mathematics teacher.  

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. You will be an inspirational teacher with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be rigorous in the pursuit of high standards for all students. Excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential, as is a commitment to students’ personal best. Attendance Administrator and Receptionist

We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised individual to join our team as a School Receptionist & Attendance Administrator. This is a combined role that plays a crucial part in the daily operations of our school, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service while also supporting student attendance and punctuality. 

As the School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, providing professional customer service at our busy front desk and managing phone and email enquiries. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Attendance Officer to maintain accurate attendance records and ensure all procedures related to student absences are followed. 

This varied and rewarding role involves managing multiple administrative duties, updating the school’s website, and supporting the wider school team with key operational tasks. 

The hours in each role will be split between the day, 8:30 am – 12:15 pm as Attendance Administrator and 12:45 pm – 16:30 as Receptionist Monday – Thursday and 12:45 – 16:00 on Fridays.

The governors at Ralph Allen School are seeking two parent governors to join their lively, friendly team, following recent retirements after long service.

There is no particular qualification needed, just enthusiasm about education, a commitment to working as part of the team and a desire to support the school. We are hoping through recruitment to add to our existing range of knowledge and experience and parent governors play a crucial role in bringing their particular perspective of the school and increasing our links with the local community.

Candidates must be parents of children currently on roll at Ralph Allen School.
