Full Time, Permanent
Term time only + 10 days in the holidays and all Inset days.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to students as well as those engaged with them by removing barriers to learning.

We are looking for someone to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning and raise aspirations for students to achieve their potential, ensuring they are fully equipped for school and are prepared for learning in all lessons. The successful applicant will need highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

You will work under the guidance and supervision of the teaching/senior staff, to implement agreed work programmes, in or out of the classroom and specifically to provide support in addressing the needs of students who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Ralph Allen School.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Music Technician to fulfil a number of different roles within the Music Department, including supporting the teaching and use of Music Technology at A’ level and GCSE and supporting students recording audio for A level Music Technology coursework.

We are looking for a reliable, punctual, flexible individual with a Music/Music Technology, or other relevant Level 3/A Level qualification. A Willingness to work with and manage the “tech crew” – a small group of students who are interested in developing their interests and expertise in live sound for performance is important.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all musical instruments and equipment and providing technical support for concerts and performances. They will need a good working technical knowledge of a range of sound and recording equipment as well as techniques and knowledge of music technology and its application including the use of Logic PRO X.
