16-19 Tuition Fund Statement

The 16 to 19 Tuition Fund is bespoke funding for schools and colleges to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from the coronavirus (COVID-19). The fund is being provided to support learners aged 16-19 to catch up and close any gaps in learning that might been exacerbated by the COVID-19 lockdowns.

As a school we will access very limited funding. We aim to target any funding we receive where it can make the most impact and where we feel it is appropriate and necessary. 

Students will be identified using our current monitoring processes and additional information we may hold such as 16-19 bursary, postcode and widening participation. Any funds that are available will be targeted towards small group or one to one tuition by existing staff members and/or tutors with specialist knowledge. We would also target study skills as appropriate.
