Congratulations to the U15 Boys’ Table Tennis team, winners of the 2020 Bath Schools Table Tennis Competition!

This is a new competition for this year, organised and hosted by Kingswood Senior School along with officials from the Bath Table Tennis League and some volunteer parents.

As County Champions from 2018, the RAS team were keen to maintain their winning record, with Jake, Sean and Toby representing the school at this new event.

The U15 competition included teams from RAS, Kingswood, King Edwards and Beechen Cliff, with all players of a high competitive standard.

Singles game play in a round robin league format saw the RAS team beat Beechen Cliff 7-2, Kingswood 5-4 and King Edwards 6-3.

Competition highlights included Jake's unbeaten run of 9 games with 9 wins, Toby's resilience battling out several match point situations, and Sean's composure under pressure taking the all important final singles game against Kingswood to win the competition and give RAS the trophy. A superb achievement for the team!
