Hello and welcome to the Ralph Allen family...
Welcome to all the year 6s who have been lucky enough to be starting at Ralph Allen in September. I may be biased, but you are about to start the next phase of your education in an amazing school. It is full of opportunity, wonder and a chance to grow and mature in a setting of supportive staff and students. Our values of ‘Respect, Teamwork and Personal Best’ will help guide you over the next chapter of your lives.
You are probably feeling a mixture of excitement and apprehension, which is perfectly understandable. This has been made more difficult through the lockdown, but we have been working just as hard to virtually connect you to your new school. The details of this will be sent out to your parents over the next few weeks as we gradually support your transition to Ralph Allen.
My final point to acknowledge is that all of you are different and have different feelings about leaving primary school and joining Ralph Allen. We want to continue to celebrate your individuality and do not wish to make everyone the same model student. Instead, we want to help you to improve on yourself, which will look different, and similar, to others. One of our sayings which you will see around school is:
“Be awesome, be amazing, be you”.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and we cannot wait to meet and work with you in September.
Below are some useful resources and information - please also read the separate letters tab.
We are asking parents and carers to complete an online Data Collection Form for students coming to Ralph Allen School this year. We have emailed you a link, which you can also access here.
Could we also please ask you to complete an additional online questionnaire that will help us with our provision in September.
