RAS Parent Governor x2 

Would you be interested in joining the school governing body?

The governors at Ralph Allen School are seeking two parent governors to join their lively, friendly team, following recent retirements after long service.

There is no particular qualification needed, just enthusiasm about education, a commitment to working as part of the team and a desire to support the school. We are hoping through recruitment to add to our existing range of knowledge and experience and parent governors play a crucial role in bringing their particular perspective of the school and increasing our links with the local community.

Candidates must be parents of children currently on roll at Ralph Allen School.

If you would like to stand for election, please complete an application form, available to download from the Local Governance Committee page on the school website, or from the governance clerk at the above email address. The completed form, which includes details of the qualification/disqualification criteria for school governors, must be returned to the clerk no later than Friday 21 April 2023 either by email at d.clayton@palladianacademytrust.com or via the school marked: FAO Deborah Clayton, Governance Clerk.

The additional information and application forms are also available to collect upon request from the school reception.

All governors must have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS); these are organised by the school.
