Work Experience Guidance and Forms for Employers

For any work experience placement to commence, employers must ensur ensure the following:

has a risk assessment for young people in the workplace if the employer has a workforce over 5 people- link to advise Young people at work - work experience - HSE
agrees to the work experience agreement if the employer has a workforce under 5 people as not required to have a risk assessment- Click here
A student must not be working on a 1-2-1 basis with an employer or employee.
The employer must ensure that the student will not be working with a person who is on the child barred list.

Employer Health and Safety Form to be completed before the placement commences.
